Join us on July 4th for the Heights District Fourth of July Celebration at Armature Works! This year’s event, presented by My Doctors Live and benefiting K9s For Warriors, will be one of three featured locations participating in the City of Tampa’s Boom by the Bay.
Festivities include a large-scale riverfront concert, fireworks display overlooking downtown Tampa, Friends of the Riverwalk Boat Parade, Hot Dog Eating competition, Kids Zone and American-inspired art that will be auctioned off during the event. The celebration kicks off at 3pm and will go until 10pm.
Interested in competing in our Second Annual Hot Dot Eating Contest? We are now accepting entries. All contestants will receive a custom t-shirt for participating. Our winner will receive a custom championship belt, $500 gift card to AW, plus bragging rights. Second and Third place will receive a $100 gift certificate to AW. While this event is free and open to the public, guests have the option to upgrade their experience by purchasing tickets to the VIP area (21+) on the Pier or the General Admission area located on the South Lawn and Checkerboards.

A worthy cause, K9s For Warriors mission is to end veteran suicide. The nation’s largest provider of trained Service Dogs to military veterans suffering from PTSD and/or traumatic brain injury. With most dogs coming from high-kill rescue shelters, this innovative program allows the K9/Warrior team to build an unwavering bond that facilitates their collective healing and recovery. Founded in 2011 as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, K9s For Warriors remains committed to bringing widespread awareness to veterans’ mental health and contributing to policy-level reform.
