Join us for an all-day celebration with a Classic American Car Show in the morning, followed by a Hot Dog Eating Competition, live music all afternoon on the Yuengling Riverfront Stage, a Tampa Metro YMCA Family Fun Zone on the West Lawn, and a spectacular 20-minute public fireworks display on the Hillsborough River to light up the downtown skyline.
Classic American Car Show
10:00AM – 1:00PM
The Classic American car show, hosted by Tampa Autosports, will take place in the morning from 10:00am – 1:00pm on the Front and West Lawns. Guests can scope out dozens of classic American cars to kick off the day’s festivities. Participating vehicles must be over 30-years old. Hot Dog Eating Competition
Our Hot Dog Eating Competition, hosted by local comedian Chuck Glass, will welcome 25 contestants from around the Bay who will compete to see who can take down the most dogs within a 5-minute period.
Competitors can choose from all-beef dogs provided by Butcher n’ Barbeque or vegan dogs provided by Dixie Dharma.
The winner will take home the championship title which includes a $500 Armature Works Gift Card, the championship belt, as well as bragging rights. Second and third place winners will each take home $100 Armature Works Gift Cards and all competitors receive a branded tee shirt.

Live Music
Following the Hot Dog Eating Competition will be a full afternoon of local, Roots-Rock and Americana acts on the Yunegling Riverfront Stage.
Opening up the event will be Dean Johansen and the 24 Hour Men from 5:00pm – 5:45pm, followed by The Applebutter Express from 6:15pm – 7:15pm, with Damon Fowler Group closing things out from 7:45pm – 9:00pm.

Fireworks Display as part of Boom by the Bay
Enjoy our spectacular fireworks display that will light up the Hillsborough River and downtown skyline at 9:00pm. Armature Works will be one of the FOUR fireworks displays spanning 2.5 miles along the Riverwalk. Guests are welcome to bring blankets and lawn chairs; however, coolers and outside food and beverages will be prohibited.
Along with food and drinks from the 14 vendors within Heights Public Market, there will also be food and drink options on the Front and West Lawns. Heights Public Market will be open on July 4th until 11pm.
