Stars, stripes and fireworks! What better way to celebrate patriotism and unity than celebrating Fourth of July weekend at Armature Works, where we have a little something for everyone.
Kick off the Fourth of July weekend with a smoked BBQ on the pier at our Tampa’s Backyard BBQ. On Saturday, July 1st from 12 – 5pm, Butcher n’ Barbeque and Stones Throw will be offering hot dogs, burgers and oysters on the pier near Stones Throw along with live music for you to enjoy on the Riverwalk.
After, taste your way around the many options of local food trucks at our Food Trucks Fest on Market Street. Come enjoy live music and seating along Market Street while you flavor your way around the different assortment of food trucks from 5 – 11pm.
For the actual big day, join us this Fourth of July at The Heights District Fourth of July Celebration at Armature Works! This year’s event is presented by Budweiser and benefits K9s for Warriors. Festivities include a large-scale riverfront concert, spectacular fireworks display, Friends of the Riverwalk Boat Parade, Annual Hot Dog Eating Competition, Kids Zone and family-friendly fun all day long. The celebration kicks off at 3pm and will go until 10pm, but come early to enjoy the bounce houses starting at noon!
The event is free and open to the public, but you can enhance your experience with one of our event access options, such as VIP on the Pier ($100 per person, must be 21+) or Prime Viewing on the West Lawn ($25 per person, for all ages). To purchase tickets and more information, click here.
The event duration is from 3 – 10pm. Here is the event’s schedule:
- Kid Zone 12pm – 9pm
- Hot Dog Eating Competition 4pm
- Live Performances on the Stage 3pm – 10pm
- Friends of the Riverwalk Boat Parade turn around in front of AW 6:45pm – 7:00pm (Time is approximate)
- Fireworks 9:15pm
If you would like to participate in the Annual Hot Dog Eating Competition starting at 4pm, please click here to register and purchase the $25 entry fee. The winner will take home the championship title, which includes a $500 gift card, the championship belt, as well as bragging rights. Second and third place winners will each take home $100 gift cards and all competitors receive a branded T-shirt. We are offering contestants all-beef dogs provided by our very own Butcher n’ Barbecue.
Take in front-row views of Armature Work’s elaborate Fourth of July fireworks display at M.Bird while enjoying our live DJ. Cover is $75 per person starting at 5pm. Guests must be 21+ and book your table fast before they sell out!
Celebrate America and enjoy our festive cocktail, ‘Star-Spangled Slammer’ for our Cocktails that Care program benefiting to K9s For Warriors. $1 from each purchase will go towards supporting the cause and can be found at our satellite bars, Steelbach, M.Bird, Bar AW and Stones Throw.
There’s nothing like an ice-cream on the Fourth of July, so satisfy your sweet tooth with a Taiyaki cone from Bake’n Babes. This vanilla soft serve ice cream is topped with seasonal sprinkles to celebrate America and freedom!
Event day parking is $20 all day in any of the Armature Works lots and $10 in The Heights District Parking Garage, which is located right above sprouts.
