Are pets allowed?

Answer

Pets are allowed on the outdoor perimeter of the property, but not within the Armature Works building / Heights Public Market — unless they are a service animal.

Are you able to rent out / reserve the market?

Please complete the form on the drop down menu of the EVENTS tab on our website. Once submitted, someone from our events team will reach out personally to provide information and help you with the booking process.

Question 3

Can I organize a photo shoot at AW?

Answer

It depends on the level of production as we do not want to disturb our guests. Please coordinate date and time by contacting info@armatureworks.com.

Question 4

Is there a cost to park?

Answer

Parking is free at Armature Works Monday-Friday in our surface lots until 4pm. Pricing ranges from $10+ after 4pm on non-event days. Parking during special events and holidays varies.

What is Show + Tell?

Answer

Show + Tell is an entertainment workshop located in Heights Public Market and available to chefs, small businesses, individuals and corporations alike. Show + Tell can host up to 30-guests and has a full cooking demonstration kitchen. The industrial space creates a lively venue whatever the occasion to hold a variety of special entertainment, food and educational events. Click here for a full list of events.

Are there any gluten free options?

Each HPM vendor is unique and features its own specific menu, and is subject to change at their discretion.

Question 7

Can I bring balloons or a cake to celebrate a birthday?

Answer

Balloons and birthday cakes can be brought into Heights Public Market.

Question 8

Do you accept reservations?

Answer

Seating within Heights Public Market (HPM) is open and on a first come, first served basis. Reservations can be made at Steelbach and Oak & Ola restaurant for lunch, brunch and dinner.

Is WiFi available?

Answer

There’s access to complimentary 2-hour WiFi throughout the entire property, guests will need to log on to the network for access.

Where is the lost and found?

Answer

If items are turned in to the manager’s office, we try to efficiently return them to their rightful owners. If you believed to have lost an item, please email lostandfound@armatureworks.com with a short description of the item and we will do our best to locate it in a timely and efficient manner.

Freelance Event Staff Part-Time

Answer

We are looking for highly organized candidates with excellent interpersonal skills to join our team as part-time event staff. Event staff is responsible for working under the instructions of an event manager, assuming the role of ticket taker, welcoming guests, manning booths, among other duties.

Moreover, event staff needs to constantly be on their feet and attend to the many needs of event-goers, requiring physical stamina and high energy levels.

EVENT STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES

Unloading equipment from trucks and setting up venues for events, including chairs and tables.
Operating cash registers.
Working under the instructions of an Event Manager.
Ensuring the event space is clean and organized.
Adhering to event safety standards.
Ensuring excellent levels of customer service.
Assuming the role of Ticket Taker and welcoming guests.
Working at a concession stand and serving food and drinks.
Dispensing useful information to event-goers.
Packing up equipment when the event is completed.

EVENT STAFF REQUIREMENTS

Outstanding organizational skills.
Diligence and attention to detail.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.

Grounds Maintenance Technician/General Labor Full-Time Part-Time

Answer

Responsibility Level

Under supervision, maintains the grounds of a multi-purpose building, which includes patio areas, lawn grass, turf grass, flower beds, walkways, parking lots, roads, and sidewalks.

Principal Duties

The ability to operate and maintain all types of small engines, including commercial pressure washers, leaf blowers, and other lawn equipment.
The ability to tolerate the hot, humid working environment of a typical Florida day.
The ability to lift 75lbs continuously.
Must be detail oriented.
Must have the ability to assess and prioritize.
The ability to complete assigned work orders.
Complies with all company policies.
Perform all duties in accordance with established safety procedures.

Requirements

General Laborers must have a proven track record of related experience.
Technicians must have 2 years or more of grounds maintenance experience, they or must have 2 years or more of building maintenance or handyman experience. Grounds maintenance experience is preferred.
Must have some hand tools necessary to complete common grounds maintenance tasks: hammer, adjustable wrench, flat bar, and screw drivers, for example.
Must maintain a professional appearance.
Must have valid I.D. and social security card
Must have a phone and email address.
